Volunteer
Opportunities |
There are many
ways to become involved. Since Francis House is supported entirely by
kindness, your contributions both personal and financial are essential
to its success.
Give the Gift of Time |
Francis House has
an ongoing need for volunteers, men and women who will share some of
their time with the less fortunate. An hour of your time can make an
enormous difference in a life. Or your expertise in fundraising or
event planning could be well applied here.
Contact our Program Director for a list of opportunities and an application.
Organize an Event |
Opportunities
exist to partner with our staff in raising funds and awareness. The
Francis House Resource Development Committee welcomes individuals that
can collect toiletries or help with a fundraising event. Volunteers are
needed each year to help organize the annual Feast for the Streets and
other fun events. Please contact
us to discuss your ideas and projects.

Volunteer of the
Month |
Congratulations to Joe for being our wonderful Volunteer of the Month! We celebrate Joe and his generous loving service to Francis House. It is only with help from great volunteers like Joe that we are able to accomplish our mission at Francis House.
It was great to see Joe return to serve Francis House after a short absence. Joe does a great job handling the front door while juggling all those tasks at the reception desk. He has made a difference by helping strengthen this important team in direct services.
Joe makes a special effort to come and help out whenever he is off work during the weekdays. It is always wonderful to see Joe pedal up to our door. And now he is jumping to help out more as a resource counselor too. Thank you so much Joe for your ongoing generous service given from the heart. We greatly appreciate you so much, as do our clients.
